Dream/Outcome form: how to fill it in?

The Dream/Outcome form should be used for recording only dreams expected to be of precognitive or clairvoyant nature. It contains two tabs. The first one is used for recording dreams (as its name indicates it) and some of their aspects described further below, while the second one is used for recording the real events, which the user believes resemble closely the dream events even though through certain symbolism. Both the dream and the outcome are saved in a single database register but upon storing the dream it can not be edited anymore, while the outcome can be edited at any time.

The form allows not only recording but also viewing Dream/Outcome registers within the dream database. All these options are accessible through the Dream DB main-menu item. You can access the form by one of several ways:
  • Clicking on Dream DB-Input. This will open a blanc form to introduce a new dream.
  • Clicking on the (+) sign at the top left part of the Dreams or My Dreams view will also open a blanc form.
  • Clicking on any register (i.e. a line) in the “Dreams” or “My Dreams” table. If the register is yours (and you are logged in) you will be able to edit the Outcome tab. If the register is not yours, you will be only able to view it, but not edit it.
Please, do not record dreams about seemingly ordinary events, as there is no way to prove later that they are of precognitive or clairvoyant nature. If you are doubtful about a particular dream, you can mark it as “private”, and later on, if it becomes true, you can mark it as “public”. This would help the users of the database to filter relevant dreams from less relevant ones.

Each of the two tabs has several elements, described in detail below. Some elements are automatically filled in, others require the user input, and others are optional. Obligatory fields are marked with a star or an eye depending on whether or not they are to be validated by the system. We strongly encourage you to fill in all the optional fields too, as this will allow us to analyze in more detail the phenomenon of psi-dreaming.

DREAM TAB

Most fields in this tab are obligatory and cannot be changed after submitting them. This setting is applied in order to avoid the temptation one might have of modifying a dream after having the knowledge about an actual posterior or simultaneous event. If there have been some impacting images in your dream, we recommend you to make a drawing of them beforehand, so that you can introduce them with the dream. Also it is recommendable that you input the dream as soon as possible after waking up, so that you still remember many details that you will most probably forget later. Moreover, ideally, you will record your dream before the actual outcome, so that it will be used as a precognition proof. As the outcome may occur very soon after the dream, it is best to record the dream and draw the sketch as soon as possible.

Please introduce all the fields described next, and click the “Save” button before abandoning the tab or the form. You may need to go immediately after that to the “Outcome” tab in case that the dream is old and the outcome is already known or in case that you need to mark the register as private. The latter option setting is not placed in the dream tab due to its protection from editing after being recorded.
  • User (automatic). This is the nickname that you introduced upon registering and the one you use for logging in the website and the forum.
  • Country (automatic). This is the country introduced by you upon registration on this website. If you have not input your real country name, please edit your user data and correct it. Although we sometimes dream about events occurring far away, usually we are most concerned with and dream about what is happening around us. If several users sharing a country have similar dreams, it is possible for the outcome to occur in that country and to have an impact on many people. Knowing the country beforehand could allow us to make a specific prediction relative to that country.
  • Dream record date (automatic). This is the date/time of starting the dream record i.e. opening the Dream/Outcome form.
  • Dream date (obligatory). Please, introduce the date and time of your dream using the selectors. Having the time information can be useful for proving the existence of clairvoyant dreams. You can leave it as the default 00.00 h if you are not certain about it but keep in mind that the system will verify that the date/time specified in this field precede the dream record date/time.
  • Dream title (obligatory). Please introduce a few keywords describing your dream, as concisely as possible, so that both you and other users of the database can easily scan through them. The length of the title is limited to 50 characters, and ideally, it will consist of only two or three words.
  • Dream abstract (obligatory). Please introduce here a short description of the dream allowing the reader to get a quick idea about it. This is necessary as some people are capable of recalling a lot of detail and not everybody has the time or wish to read it all.
  • Expected people affected (obligatory). Please, indicate what people you believe the dream refers to:

    -Friends
    -Dreamer
    -Family
    -Other people
  • Expected severity (obligatory). Please, indicate whether the dream seems to refer to:

    -Pleasant experience
    -An unusual experience
    -An unpleasant experience
    -Death(s)
    -Large-scale disaster

For evaluating this score, please focus on the imagery, the events, and your feeling in the dream. The feeling is more reliable than the apparent severity as judged by the imagery. For example, a scene that sounds scary when you relate it to somebody probably is not an indication of death or disaster if your feeling in the dream was careless.
  • Dream description (optional). Please introduce here a description of the dream in as much detail as possible. The small details could be crucial for finding a correlation with a real event. Leave this field blank if you remember only what you have already introduced in the Dream abstract field.
  • Dream image (optional). This is a very recommendable feature to use, as it allows anyone interested in your dream to obtain quickly an idea about it. It is a visual proof of what is dreamt which can easily be compared with Outcome imagery, which can be uploaded in the Outcome tab. Do not worry if you are not a great artist. With time and practice, you will improve your drawing skills. The maximum file size is 4 MB.

Before saving your dream data, if you decide to maintain your dream as private (you can make it public at any moment), you need to go to the Outcome tab and choose the "No" option from the dropdown called "Public".
Now you are ready to save your data by hitting the save button. On doing so you will be sent to the page containing the table listing your dreams, including the one you just introduced.

    OUTCOME TAB

All fields in this tab can be edited at any moment, once a dream has been recorded.. Please introduce all of the fields upon recording an outcome event. This is important for an objective comparison between dream and reality. Sometimes new events may occur (after the initially recorded one), having a better degree of coincidence with the dream events. In this case, please update the outcome description accordingly.

    • Public: The options are:

      -Yes (default)
      -No

This field allows the user to maintain as private a dream/outcome register. If you doubt whether the dream will come to reality, and you do not have any art to show off (Dream image field) you can change the default Yes option to No. You will still be able to access your register under Dream DB - My dreams but the rest of the users will not be able to see any of its content. Of course, if you experience some real events that closely match the content of the dream it is highly recommended to include them in the Outcome tab and change the status of the register to Public.
    • Outcome record date (automatic field). This is the date recorded upon the last outcome edit.

    • This date is compared automatically with the dream record date and the result is automatically indicated in the dream table as pre- or post record. Dreams recorded before the actual outcome are extremely valuable, as they have the potential of becoming proofs of precognition existence if there is a significant coincidence between the dream events and imagery and the actual ones.
    • Outcome date: This is the approximate (or exact if known) date when the actual outcome occurred. Sometimes the Outcome may consist of a series of events. In this case, it is better to introduce the approximate date of the event even if it has not finished yet. This will allow automatic labeling of the sequence (DR->O ♥ ) and enable calculations with dates. You can always add a note in the Outcome description box (see below) indicating the duration of the real event.
    • Outcome title: Please introduce a few keywords describing the Outcome event(s), as concisely and closely as possible. The máximum is 50 characters to avoid excessive expansion of the dream table.

    • Outcome abstract: This field is for resuming the actual events so that any person who interested or just passing by can quickly get an idea and compare them with the dream abstract.

    • Outcome description. Please provide here a description of the real events. It should be as detailed as possible and should be revised in case new vents occur which can be considered as a better coincidence with the dream events. It is a good idea to maintain all the versions, as we do not know yet if a dream can reflect several real events without a causal connection between them.
    • Outcome image: Here you can introduce an image or a pdf of an illustrated article or another document, including one prepared by you (you can prepare e.g. an MS Word file and generate a pdf by printing a pdf option). Accepted file formats are jpg, gif, png, and pdf. The maximum file size is 4 MB.
    • Fulfillment: a score evaluating the degree to which the dream can be considered to be fulfilled by the actual events. Please select one of the three options given:

      -Partial
      -Average
      -Outstanding

    • Logic: This is a score evaluating whether the dream can be the product of some sort of subconscious logic or perception of real stimuli. Please select one of the three options given:

      -Impossible
      -Remotely possible
      -Possible

    • Outcome severity: A score evaluating the severity of the outcome, to be compared with the Expected severity score from the dream tab.

      -Pleasant experience
      -Unusual experience
      -Unpleasant experience
      -Illness
      -Death(s)
      -Disaster

    • Symbolism: This is a score to evaluate the degree of symbolism of the dream. The options available are:

      -Little to none
      -Some symbolism
      -A lot of symbolism

Less symbolic dreams are more valuable since they are harder to explain as “pure coincidence” i.e. a coincidence attributable to rather than actual precognition.
    • People affected: The people affected in the outcome, to be compared with the number expected at the time immediately after having the dream.

      -Friends
      -Dreamer
      -Family
      -Other people

After introducing the data required, you need to press the Save button. This will store your outcome data in the database and will send you to the page containing your dreams, including the one whose outcome you jus updated.
