Which is the optimal mental state or technique for having precognition and can everybody experience it?Written by Steve Randolf
There is quite a rich variety of mental states, including alertness, wakefulness, hypnagogia, meditation, trance, hypnosis, deep sleep, rapid eye movements (REM) sleep, lucid dreaming, out of body experiences (OOBE, OBE), and drug-altered states. One might ask, does extrasensory perception such as precognition and clairvoyance require getting into a particular one? Or is there any state especially favorable for inducing precognition and clairvoyance such that anyone could obtain on-demand precognitive/clairvoyant visions? It turns out that PSI can be experienced in most of these states, although one of them provides particularly good results.
Parapsychology has been traditionally ignored by mainstream science. Could it be time for that to change?
It has been given multiple names. The most used ones are variants of universal or cosmic consciousness or mind. Psychologist Carl Jung called it the Collective Unconscious. One of the fathers of quantum mechanics, Erwin Schrödinger was obsessed with the concept of Brahman used in the Sanskrit writings of the Upanishads. The physicist, engineer, and inventor Nikola Tesla and the philosopher Erwin Laszlo popularized the terms Akasha, also borrowed from ancient Sanskrit philosophy. Even the concept of God, present in every culture appears to be related or the same thing.

Ultimately, Einstein’s quote “spooky action at a distance” appears in every single popularization article discussing quantum entanglement. This phrase is always recalled in a context highlighting how strange quantum entanglement is and often appears to suggest that Einstein did not accept the phenomenon due to its spooky nature as if he were not enough open-minded to consider such phenomena. Let us see why that was not exactly the case.
I believe that the current physical theories will eventually evolve to converge with the existing knowledge about psi. That is why I am researching how the latest physical discoveries could be related to psi. Apart from generating specialized articles about this topic separately, I will be posting in this file the latest news about quantum entanglement, quantum computing, time reversal in quantum systems, quantum biology/consciousness, the theory of everything, etc.
There is more than sufficient bibliography prooving the existence of precognition, clairvoyance, and psi in general, including in mainstream peer-reviewed journals. But why most people still doubt their existence?
Juan Diego Jiménez Soler is a Spanish psychic and the author of the book “Premoniciones”. He has a Master's Degree in Electronics and Computer Science. Due to his personal circumstances, he got into the field of parapsychology at the age of 36, looking for answers to things that had happened to him in his daily life. He found those answers more than 25 years later. He is avid for new knowledge and he is open to new experiences such as astral projection, dream control, and access to the universal knowledge. Meanwhile, he keeps on working as a computer programmer and enjoys facing new challenges every day.
I have prepared a small quiz to probe public opinión about precognitive dreams and their scientific study. A dozen people answered including NASA astronomer Paul Kalas and author of the book “The Oneironauts” and Spanish psychic Juan Diego Jimenez Soler, author of the book Premoniciones (in Spanish).
There are several must-read books about precognitive dreams which I will review briefly below.
A number of people had premonitions about the Aberfan disaster before it occurred in 1966. That inspired the creation of the British Premonitions Bureau
Psioneirology’s database is a premonition registry. The idea of creating registries to record multiple premonitions before they come true is probably centuries old. In the last 50 years or so, at least ten such registries have been created but none of them has gained much popularity and currently only one of them is active. It is worth having a look at their features in order to understand what is the cause of that lack of success.
Among psi phenomena, precognition and clairvoyance through dreams are the ones that have always intrigued me. Unfortunately, although there is abundant written evidence for these phenomena, there is no universal consent as to their veracity.
I have had several dreams, anticipating the coronavirus Covid 19 pandemic. They are mostly from December last year, before the coronavirus was even identified as a danger. I have had several more dreams this year, which also anticipated some events related to the coronavirus crisis.
After decades of studying this question, now I can say that I have a well-defined opinion, based on several books and articles with examples of premonitory dreams, guidelines by several people experienced in this field, and my own dream analysis.
